Jeff Marr is a man on a mission – to help people as “The Heart Attack Coach”. He’s driven by his personal experiences and shares his story in this revealing interview.
BECOMING A COACH
After 30 years in the IT industry, at age 30 Jeff was diagnosed with a heart condition. He didn’t have any issues at first, but one of his cousins died from the condition. In 2007, Jeff had his first heart attack, and had to give up a lot of the activities and sports he enjoyed. Things got progressively worse over the years, and he’s suffered heart failure 6 times over the last 8 years. He’s been off work for the past 14 months, giving him time to think about what he would be doing in life. He recalled the feeling he got after receiving hospital support from a gentleman that visited him while recovering from one of his procedures. In an effort to offer similar support to others experiencing heart conditions, Jeff stated HeartAttackCoach.com and offering himself to those in need.
