BECOMING A COACH
Mike bought his first revenue property, Calgary, when he was working full-time for the telephone company. He was originally thinking that property would eventually afford him a good retirement. The local real estate boom resulted in Mike obtaining a lot of equity in the property, and he started doing more investing. Without a coach, he discovered you can lose money in the market as quick as you can gain it, and he went on a mission to learn all that he could about real estate. For started investing in US properties, and friends started asking him questions on how they could do this as well. Mike also started speaking across Canada for people associated with “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”. He began coaching individuals, as well as owning businesses in many other industries.
