Jake Nawrocki rose up from a failure in his life to help inspire others with his coaching, speaking and his popular podcast “Operation Self Reset”. He shares the lessons that he learned along the way with Coach Nation!
BECOMING A COACH
Jake went through a challenging time during “The Great Recession”, when he lost some of the properties that he owned. He was helped through that setback by personal development, and knew that he wanted to inspire others to bounce back from the challenges in their lives as well. His coaching journey began then!
BIGGEST OBSTACLE
Time management is Jake’s main challenge – he recommends staying focused on one thing rather than being pulled in all directions.
GETTING NEW COACHING CLIENTS
Jake gets a lot of his clients from his podcasting efforts, since he has a large audience with “Operation Self Reset”. He also gets leads from his speaking and his videos.
BEST COACHING RESOURCES
Jim Kwik/Kwik Learning – since Jake has ADHD, he uses these programs to help him better retain the information that he reads.
MOST IMPACTFUL BOOK
“The Five Minute Journal” by Alex Ikonn
“The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg
CURRENT COACHING PROJECT
Jake is part of the team working on Goaly, an online resource to help people get help from coaches for any issues in their lives.
