While I love the positives that can come from social media, there’s no ignoring the many negatives.
A big one is the comparison with others in your space …
It’s easy to feel jealous seeing them posting their “wins”, even if it’s all a facade and not true.
My advice is to not compare yourself to others on social media.
As Theodore Roosevelt once said:
“Comparison is the thief of joy”
It reminds me of what dating coach Connell Barrett said;
“Don’t compare yourself to the other guys. Compare yourself to the guy you were yesterday and be 1% better than him today”
