My favourite part of the movie “The Big Short” comes near the end, when Christian Bale’s character (Michael Burry) pens a letter to investors and says:
“I met my wife through Match.com … my profile said, ‘I am a medical student with only one eye, an awkward social manner, and $145,000 in student loans.’ She wrote back, ‘You’re just what I’ve been looking for.’ She meant ‘honest’ ….”
I’m currently filling my spring joint venture spots, and am looking for partners who don’t BS and talk fluff, but are honest about what results they give coaches.
