When choosing who I joint venture with, I have three simple criteria that I follow:
1) Their offer must be relevant for coaches, since those are my people (so if Trojan condoms comes a-knocking, I’ll probably say “no”)
2) Their offer has to be valuable and give the results that they claim (since I’m attaching my name to it).
3) Their offer can’t be something too similar to other joint ventures that I’ve done recently …
I judge all potential partners this way, and it’s made things go very smoothly for many years.
