At first glance, the game “Plants Vs. Zombies” offers little in way of business advice for coaches.
It has the goal of keeping zombies from entering your house and eating your brains by using plants (like peashooters) to spit out stuff at the advancing zombies.
If you continue to fire consistently, you’ll keep the bad guys away. But if you stop firing for even a little bit, the zombies will advance and will make it into your house …
Game over.
Just as zombie-slayers have to always be firing things out there, coaches have to always have something that they’re offering their marketplace.
I’m always firing bullets …
Years ago, I’d promote something heavily for awhile, then take a breather on promotion for a few weeks, then pick back up on something else for a bit, then stop promoting.
This inconsistency wasn’t helping my business, and I learned that I had to make sure I always had programs and products that I believed in and was letting people know about.
If your bank account isn’t where you’d like it to be right now, it could be a similar issue with consistency.
Find things that will benefit your marketplace, and get firing them out there …
