A lot of the old ways of getting business online don’t work so well nowadays.
For example, there was once a time when all it took to get someone to join your email list was to have a box at the bottom of your website that said; “Subscribe To My Newsletter”.
Or someone who didn’t know you from Adam could stumble on your sales page and instantly whip out their credit card to buy from you.
You could also offer a free “strategy call” or “discovery call”, and convert a good number of them into paying clients.
But these things aren’t as effective now.
Folks are skeptical, and you can’t expect that something that worked even a few years ago to work as well today.
