I’ve noticed a change in the coaching world in the last few years.
I’m not alone – I’ve seen others commenting on the shift that they’ve seen as well.
What changes are there?
Well, people are more skeptical and are holding onto their wallets tighter.
Sure, part of that could be the inflation and crazy cost of living increases that have hit many of them (thanks politicians!)
If given the choice between paying for the roof over their heads, groceries, car payments, etc they can’t justify investing in a coaching program.
And I’ve had a number of potential clients who have said they want to work with me, but they’ve had bad experiences with a coach/coaches and don’t have the budget for it now.
It’s like if you’re dating someone who has previously been in bad relationships with cheating, abuse, etc … they’re bringing that into the new relationship and you’ll have to convince them that you’re not like their exes!
The good news about this current environment is if you have something good that gets results you’ll stick out like a sore thumb.
(The glass isn’t half empty, it’s half full)
If you fit into that category and have something that helps coaches, I’m currently filling my joint venture calendar for Q1.
