If you’re not where you want to be with your coaching business, it can be frustrating to look around online and see people with questionable talent getting tons of followers (and in some cases, raking in the big bucks)
There are “The Costco Guys” (if you don’t know who they are you can Google them, but be prepared to lose some brain cells watching their stuff)
And the “Chick-Fil-A” employee who racked up tens of millions of views on a video of her making funny faces while taking an order.
And let’s not forget the “Hawk Tua Girl”, who became famous and has reportedly pulled in millions of dollars for a one sentence reply that she gave to a street interviewer about … well, you can Google that too if you don’t already know.
While these folks aren’t my cup of tea, I can’t fault them for capitalizing on their 15 minutes of fame and turning it into more.
We live in a capitalist society, and if followers are willing to pay then all the power to them.
A guest on my podcast once said something that has stuck with me for many years since:
“Money is an echo of value”
I guess their followers are getting value from their content (usually laughs), even if I don’t totally understand it.
If you’re tired of watching vapid influencers hitting it big with silly content and want to be paid very well for helping others, watch the free workshop that Marshall Sylver is now doing.
It’s called “The Missing Piece to Millions”, and in it you’ll learn how to remove financial blocks so you can finally be rewarded for the value you’re giving.
