Tomorrow I’m releasing a podcast interview that will stir some people up.
My guest is going to be James Arthur Ray, who rose to fame because of his appearance in “The Secret”, but was then sent to prison after several people died in a sweat lodge accident at an event that he ran in 2009.
A few people raised their eyebrows when I told them that James is coming on the show.
One didn’t even try to hide her disapproval, and said that I shouldn’t have invited him on.
I disagree, and here’s my point of view on it:
Nobody’s perfect.
What happened at James’ event was tragic, and the families of those who lost their lives have every right to be upset at him.
But I wanted James to come on the show to share how he’s handled everything that happened.
He went from being at the top of the personal development world to being in a prison cell. He’s now fighting to make a comeback, and that’s an interesting story.
Everyone goes through challenges – maybe not as extreme as James’ situation, but they’re dealing with something and I think the interview will help those who need to make comebacks in their lives.
