Last year I read a blog post that went (kind of) viral about a live event in Australia.
The blogger shared her experiences from attending, and it’d be an understatement to say that she was disappointed in it.
Gary Vaynerchuk was the headliner for the event, and he was featured prominently in the marketing leading up to it so she assumed that he would get lots of stage time.
But on the big day, Gary showed up only for a few minutes at the end.
The rest of the day saw other speakers on the stage, who (with the exception of one) provided little value and offered nothing but aggressive sales pitches.
I wasn’t at the event – so before a bunch of Gary Vee fans jump down my throat I can’t speak from personal experience about it – however it’s not uncommon for live events to be nothing more than pitchfests and wastes of time.
However, I am aware of one live event that delivers tons of bang for the buck and a solid ROI for the time spent there.

It’s being led by Pamela Bruner, who’s a sought-after business coach, author, and speaker with a history of successes in the transformational industry.
From researching the event and knowing the organizers, I’m confident in plugging it because it actually delivers value (gasp!) and has glowing reviews from the people who have attended in past years.
