If you feel like you’re struggling with your coaching business, or treading water at the moment, then here’s advice from a legend in the world of golf:
I read that Jack Nicklaus (considered by many to be the greatest golfer of all time, with 18 major championships) was often running behind the pack in tournaments.
But rather than getting dejected and mentally checking out, he made a conscious decision to “hang around” and let others collapse.
Tournaments are marathons, not sprints, and he’d just do his best and see what happened with the competition. He often had a few good holes, others would fall apart, and he would end up as the winner.
This strategy can be applied with your coaching business as well.
It’s easy to get caught up with all of the noise online, and get thrown off your game seeing your peers celebrating wins all over your social media timelines (note: some of those “wins” are just BS)
Channel Jack Nicklaus and show up every day, do your best, don’t lose control of your thoughts, and you might be surprised where you end up …
If you’re looking for a boost of motivation and solid strategies to get your coaching business rolling, check out the live workshop that I’m hosting on Tuesday, December 3rd where I’m sharing my experiences from over 10 years in the coaching world.
