When you hear about something going extinct, you might think of the Dodo bird.
They were discovered around 1600 on an island in the Indian Ocean by Dutch soldiers, but less than 100 years later they were all gone.
I’ve been speaking with coaches about AI since it really burst onto the scene earlier this year, and a fair number of them are concerned that AI will replace them one day in the not-too-distant-future.
I’m more of a “glass half full” guy when it comes to this!
Despite AI being able to do lots of cool stuff, I don’t see it replacing the human touch given by well, humans.
So AI can complement, but not fully replace, coaches.
Since Karen Cappello is teaching a workshop to my community this week on AI, I asked for her opinion on this and she agrees …
She said that AI can complement what coaches do, but isn’t going to take over the whole coaching journey.
